Today, the Automobile Industry, directly and indirectly, employs close to 30 million people. And if we were to factor-in the various initiatives that each individual automotive manufacturer undertakes – it won’t be wrong to say, that we are sustaining entire towns and cities on our own. And cities like Jamshedpur, in Jharkhand, Chakan, near Pune, Manesar, near Gurgaon, and Sriperambadur, near Chennai are proof of the eco-systems that the industry is providing livelihood to. The eventual goal for us in the industry is not just to bring happiness to an individual but to the whole nation.
By 2026, Indian automobile industry will be one of the largest in the world, employing close to 100 million people and contributing to more than 12% of the nation’s GDP!
